Terrorists planning Pulwama-like attack on Burhan Wani's death anniversary in J&K: Reports

New Delhi: Secret agencies have alerted the security forces of another Pulwama-like attack in Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, the terrorists are planning a major terror attack in the state on the death anniversary of terrorist Burhan Wani. Pakistani terrorists are planning to target Pulwama and nearby areas.
The reports suggest that there are chances that IED and snipers could be used for the same. It is important to know that IED explosive was used in large amount to blow away the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, which claimed the lives of 40 Indian soldiers.

As per sources, Pakistani terrorists are likely to target the security forces at the national highway with the use of snipers. The secret agencies tell that the same is being planned out by a team of 6-8 terrorists, who have been hiding in Kashmir with changed identities.
Terrorist Burhan Wani was gunned down in an operation by security officials on July 8, 2016.
All the agencies have been alerted after the inputs from secret agencies and the security has also been beefed up.
