'Strong Govt' Expected To Take 'Strong Action' On Super Corrupt System: Varun Gandhi's Latest Barb At BJP

New Delhi: With the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioning ABG Shipyard’s Rishi Agarwal in connection with India’s biggest bank fraud case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi on Friday highlighted the monetary worth of industrialists, including fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya, and said a “strong government” is expected to take “strong action” on this super corrupt system.
“Vijay Mallya: 9000 crores Nirav Modi: 14000 crores Rishi Aggarwal: 23000 crores Today, when about 14 people are committing suicide in the country every day under the burden of debt, then the life of such money animals is at the peak of splendor. A ‘strong government’ is expected to take ‘strong action’ on this super corrupt system,” he tweeted in Hindi.

In the latest development in the bank loan fraud allegedly committed by ABG Shipyard Ltd, the CBI has interrogated its chairman and main promoter Rishi Kamlesh Aggarwal, IANS reported sources as saying.
The news agency reported that Aggarwal would be called again by the CBI in the coming days as he has to be confronted with others and a few documents.
The CBI had recently issued lookout circular (LOC) against Aggarwal and eight others connected to the case.
The CBI had earlier registered an FIR against ABG Shipyard and its directors for allegedly duping a consortium of 28 banks to the tune of Rs 22,842 crore.
