Sonia Gandhi To Join Bharat Jodo Yatra On Oct 6 In Karnataka: Report
Bharat Jodo Yatra: As per reports, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will be joining the ongoing yatra on October 6 in Karnataka.
Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra on October 6 in Karnataka, news agency ANI reported. This would be the first time that Sonia Gandhi will participate in the Yatra which began when she was abroad for a medical check-up.
Sonia Gandhi will walk with the participants on October 6 during the Karnataka leg of the Yatra, a party source said told PTI.
The Yatra will pass through Karnataka for 21 days covering 511 km in the state. It began on September 7 from Kanyakumari and entered Karnataka on Friday after passing through Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Rahul Gandhi has been walking continuously in the Yatra and reached Gundlupet in Karnataka on September 30 from Gudalur in neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
The Yatra has entered a crucial phase with the Karnataka leg as the state goes to polls next year and is the first time when it is passing through a BJP-ruled state, reports PTI.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also join the Yatra a day after Sonia Gandhi. Although Priyanka Gandhi's programme has yet to be finalised, she was expected to join the yatra earlier but was unable to do so due to unforeseen circumstances, news agency ANI reports.
Earlier today, Rahul Gandhi addressed a public rally in Mysuru, Karnataka, amid rains as part of the ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Yatra.' He posted a video of himself addressing a public rally in the rain. He captioned the video, “Uniting India, No one can stop us. By raising the voice of India, No one can stop us. Will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, no one can stop the India Jodi Yatra.”

Rahul Gandhi claimed on Friday that the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is the only way for the party to reach out to the masses because all other avenues of expression are closed, PTI reported.
