Mosques In Shahjahanpur Covered Ahead of ‘Laat Sahab’ Holi, Security Tightened – WATCH
Ahead of 'Laat Sahab' Holi in UP's Shahjahanpur, all mosques have been covered, and security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order.

The mosques were covered ahead of ‘Laat Sahab’ Holi in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday. The mosques were covered with tarpaulin ahead of the ‘Laat Sahab’ procession to maintain peace and order.

According to Superintendent (SP) Rajesh S, while speaking to ANI, he said Shahjahanpur is the land of martyrs and the groundwork began a month before through peace committee consultations to ensure a harmonious celebration. To maintain order during Laat Sahab Holi in Shahjahanpur, authorities have positioned 3,500 security personnel.

Authorities have covered the mosques with tarpaulin to ensure peace during celebrations. Special attention has been given to the Laat Sahib area, with all mosques on either side secured.
The administration has also deployed drone surveillance and CCTV monitoring to maintain security and prevent disturbances.
SP Rajesh S stated that preventive measures are in place, with security units deployed at key locations to manage crowds and ensure smooth celebrations.
According to The Times Of India, security units will be positioned at strategic locations to regulate crowds and facilitate smooth celebrations. Police are coordinating with community leaders to maintain peace, and the administration has urged public cooperation for safe festivities in Shahjahanpur.
