Republic Day 2022: When And Where To Watch R-Day Parade 2022 LIVE

Republic Day 2022: Because the number of COVID-19 cases has grown dramatically this year, the number of visitors has been decreased to roughly 4,000.

New Delhi: People travelling at Rajpath to see the Republic Day's grandiose procession on Wednesday, January 26, will notice that the boulevard has taken on a whole new look, as construction on the government's massive Central Vista Project is progressing at a rapid pace.

At the parade, members of three military wings — the Indian Army, the Indian Navy, and the Indian Air Force – take part.

This year's Republic Day parade has seen a dramatic decrease in attendance.

When the initial wave of COVID-19 ended last year, some 25,000 guests were admitted. Because the number of COVID-19 cases has grown dramatically this year, the number of visitors has been decreased to roughly 4,000.

The Republic Day parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. this year, rather than 10:00 a.m., to allow for improved visibility by the time of the flypast.

Meanwhile, because of the current Covid-19 scenario, this year's Republic Day event, like last year's, will have no international chief as the Chief Guest.

Republic Day Parade: Live-Streaming

To host the activities digitally, the Ministry of Defence has created a website named www.indianrdc.mod.gov.in along with a YouTube channel called 'Indian RDC.'

The march will be live-streamed on Doordarshan's YouTube page from the moment Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits the National War Memorial at India Gate to the very conclusion.

Live coverage is also available on the DD National and DD News YouTube channels, as well as the NewsOnAir app and website.

The Republic Day parade will also be streamed live on the Press Information Bureau's YouTube site.

The Republic Day Parade 2022 livestream will be available through the official Doordarshan National channel on YouTube at 9:15 am.

Prasar Bharati will livestream the Republic Day Parade 2022 parade through its YouTube channel starting at 8:30 am.
