Indian Army's Daredevils Set World Record In Stunts, Form Highest Human Pyramid On Moving Motorcycles — WATCH

Republic Day 2025: Indian Army's Daredevils form multiple motorcycle stunts, they set a new world record with the human pyramid on the Kartavya Path.

The Corps of Signals Motorcycle Rider Display Team, also known as ‘Daredevils', carried out stunning motorcycle displays on Sunday. Led by Captain Ashish Rana, they set a new world record by creating the highest human pyramid on moving motorcycles.

The impressive formation, which stood 20.4 feet tall with 33 men on 9 motorcycles, covered 2 kilometres of the Kartavya Path, from Vijay Chowk to India Gate in New Delhi.

Aside from this, the team displayed a number of formations, including Bullet Salute, Tank Top, Double Jimmy, Devils Down, Ladder Salute, Shatrujeet, Shraddhanjali, Mercury Peak, Info Warriors, and Lotus. The audience was in awe upon watching these performances.

The Daredevils, a unit of the Corps of Signals, have gained international acclaim for their daring performances. They hold 33 world records, including entries in the Guinness World Records, Asia Book of Records, and Limca Book of Records.

The Daredevils was established in 1935, the teams have performed over 1,600 displays across India, including Republic Day and Army Day parades, as well as other military events. It is known for showcasing the Indian Army's capabilities, their performances have been integral to numerous national celebrations. This latest achievement adds to their record-setting legacy, reflecting their discipline and technical expertise.

Before the motorcycle displays, 5,000 artists performed the title of ‘Jayati Jaya Mamaḧ Bharatam’ which included 45 dance forms from different parts of the country in an 11-minute cultural performance. For the first time, the performance will cover the entire Kartavya Path, from Vijay Chowk to C hexagon to let all the guests enjoy the performance.
