Republic Day 2024: Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, the Indian Air Force has shared a behind-the-scenes video showing preparations for this year's Republic Day celebrations. The IAF took to X and said that it's that time of the year again when 54 aircraft will converge over Kartavya Path.
"It's that time of the year again when 54 aircraft will converge over Kartavya Path. Flying at varying altitudes and speeds, they are channelled into a highly synchronised and seamless continuum. This is a short 'Behind the Scene BTS peek at the mechanics of this aerial ballet," the IAF said.

Meanwhile, extensive security arrangements have been made in the national capital for the Republic Day celebrations to ensure safety. The Delhi Police said on Wednesday that around 14,000 security personnel will be deployed in and around Kartavya Path, where the Republic Parade will take place on January 26.
Security has been stepped up to ensure the safety of the 77,000 invitees expected at Kartavya Path to watch this year's parade, according to officials. During a press conference at the Delhi Police headquarters, Special Commissioner of Police (Security) Dependra Pathak briefed about the security arrangements and said that professional, robust, and flawless security arrangements have been put in place all around Delhi for Republic Day, as reported by news agency PTI.
Pathak stated that the security, traffic, and district units are working together in coordination with the central security agencies for the January 26 celebrations, as reported by PTI. He also said that about 14,000 security personnel with focused and defined roles and responsibilities will be deployed at the main operational area of the Kartavya Path.
