Ram mandir row: 'Can expect a verdict by Diwali' says Swamy
Swamy refused to any chances of SC's earlier suggestion of resolving the matter via dialogue
New Delhi: The Ayodhya matter which is being heard in the apex court is likely to come to a close as per senior Bharatiya Janta Party leader Subramanian Swamy. Swamy’s statement came after Supreme Court declared that a hearing on the matter would take place soon.
Petitioner Swamy on Friday said that the matter would resolve by Diwali as SC verdict would be pronounced by then.
As per Swamy, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has extended his lawyer’s support to Swamy during SC hearing.
Swamy also sought support from the Centre on the matter saying, “I sent a notice to the centre for sending someone in the court, but it isn’t paying much attention to the case”. He further added saying, “the centre must extend support in the matter as well”.
Refuting any chances of taking a decision amicably Swamy said, “I suggest the people seeking a mosque in Ayodhya to get it constructed elsewhere or on the other side of Saryu River.
Swamy further added saying, “I am hoping for a verdict on the matter by Diwali.
