Rahul Gandhi In US Launches Fresh Attack On RSS: 'For Them Certain States, Languages Are Inferior'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the RSS during his address in Virginia, US saying they consider certain states, languages, and religion inferior to other.

Leader Of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi launched a fresh attack against the Rashtriya Sayamsevak Sangh on Tuesday saying the outfit considers certain states, languages, and religions inferior to others.

The Congress leader remarked while addressing a gathering in Virginia as part of his three-day visit to the United States. Gandhi said that all the states have their own history and tradition but RSS ideology considers certain states and languages as inferior to others.

"What the RSS says is that certain states are inferior to other states. Certain languages are inferior to other languages, certain religions are inferior to other religions, and certain communities are inferior to other communities," said the Congress MP.

"All the state has its history, tradition...RSS ideology is Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, and Manipuri, these are inferior languages...that's what the fight is about...These people (RSS) don't understand India," he added.

He also trained guns on the Bharatiya Janata Party saying that it does not understand that this country is of everyone. Reiterating his stance from 2022, Gandhi said that India is a union of but the BJP does not accept it.

"India is a union. In the Constitution, it is written clearly... India that is Bharat is a union state, histories, tradition music and dance...they (BJP) say it is not a union, it is different...," he said.

The LoP sparked a row on Monday after he said during his speech in Texas that the "fear" of BJP and RSS "vanished" mintues within Lok Sabha election results. Keeping on with the attack, he said on Tuesday that it took years for them to spread this fear but it vanished within seconds.

"Something has changed after the elections. Some people said 'Dar nahi lagta ab, dar nikal gaya ab' (now we are not scared, we are free from fear)," he said.

"It is interesting to me that the BJP and PM Modi spread so much fear, and the pressure of agencies on small businesses, everything vanished within seconds. It took years for them to spread this fear and vanished within seconds," he added.
