Rahul Gandhi And Congress Doesn't Have Faith In Our Army, Says Union Min Anurag Thakur
Anurag Thakur attacked Rahul Gandhi and said that he and Congress do not have faith in the Indian Army. Thakur also said that when the Indian Army did surgical strikes he raised questions.
New Delhi: Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that he and Congress do not have faith in the Indian Army. Thakur also said that when the Indian Army did surgical strikes, even then he raised questions. Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi was seen having soup with Chinese officials when the Indian Army was fighting with Chinese troops.
"Rahul Gandhi was seen having soup with Chinese officials during the Doklam incident whereas the Indian Army was fighting with Chinese troops. When the Indian Army did surgical strikes, even then he questioned us. Rahul Gandhi & Congress doesn't have faith in our army," Anurag Thakur told news agency ANI.

Thakur attacked the previous UPA government and said that the UPA government could not purchase fighter jets, bulletproof jackets, or snow boots for our army for 10 years. He also said that this is not the India of 1962, this is the India of 2014. India is moving forward under the leadership of PM Modi, he added.
"This is not the India of 1962, this is the India of 2014. India is moving forward under the leadership of PM Modi. UPA govt could not purchase fighter jets, bulletproof jackets or snow boots for our army for 10 years. What did you do for our Army?" ANI quoted Thakur as saying.
