Inspector General of Police (Border Range) SPS Parmar while exclusively speaking to ABP Sanjha said that he himself had gone down to the site of the crime twice before the SIT was constituted to investigate into the incident. However, the SIT is probing the incident from all possible angles to get to the depth of the matter. Parmar said that he did not want to make any specific comments on the 35 suspects who could possibly have links on carrying out the dastardly attack on Raina's relatives as earlier reported by Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta. He added that what the Punjab DGP said was true but he cannot could not say much on the subject. Parmar told ABP Sanjha that the Punjab Police has not made any arrests yet in the case so far."It's a blind murder," he said. Hence, a serious investigation is underway to probe the matter in totality. However, IG Border Range added that it was not a time bound investigation, hence the police would soon reach a definitive conclusion and the accused behind the criminal activity would be arrested.
