PNB scam: 'Want to settle matter with banks, but can't travel back to India' says fugitive Mehul Choksi
He also submitted before the court that he has expressed his willingness to join the investigation through video conferencing.
New Delhi: Punjab National Bank scam main accused dimantaire Mehul Choksi on Tuesday submitted before Bombay Court saying he cannot travel back to India due to poor health conditions. He further accused ED of misleading the probe by not revealing his health condition deliberately.
Replying to ED in Bombay High court fugitive Choksi said “can't travel for 41 hours to reach India due to poor health”.
He further said that he is in touch with banks and wants to settle the issues with them.
He also submitted before the court that he has expressed his willingness to join the investigation through video conferencing.
Choksi is the main accused in 13,700 crore PNB Scam along with his nephew Nirav Modi.
