What Is Good Friday And Its Significance?
Good Friday, also known as Holy Friday or Black Friday, marks the day when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. Just a week before Easter, it condemns every suffering and punishment that Jesus had to suffer while Easter celebrates his resurrection from the tomb.
Each year, scores of people gather in churches across the country to offer prayers to Jesus Christ.
