Prime Minister Narendra Modi Leaves For France, Will Co-Chair AI Action Summit — WATCH
PM Modi left for Paris, France where he will meet President Emmanuel Macron and co-chair the AI Action Summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, departed for a four-visit of France and United States from Delhi on Monday. During this trip, he will hold discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Donald Trump.

In the first leg of his trip, President Macron and PM Modi will travel to the historic French city of Marseille to inaugurate the first Indian Consulate in France and also visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor project, in which India is a member of the consortium of partner countries including France, to harness energy for the global good.
PM will co-chair the AI Action Summit that France is organising, alongside President Macron of France. According to ANI, after the AI summit, there will be a bilateral component to the visit and PM Modi and President Macron will address the India-France CEOs forum.
From France, he will depart for the US to meet with President Donald Trump and interact with senior leaders of the US administration. This will be the first meeting between the two leaders after President Trump assumed office for his second term.
"The PM would be among the first few world leaders to visit the US following the inauguration of President Trump. The fact that the Prime Minister has been invited to visit the US within barely three weeks of the new administration taking office shows the importance of the India-US partnership and is also reflective of the bipartisan support that this partnership enjoys in the US,"Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
Previously, PM Modi visited the USA in June 2017 and hosted President Trump for a state visit to India in February 2020.
