Both houses of Parliament on Wednesday were adjourned amid bedlam over the Manipur issue. There was no debate on the Delhi Services Bill today, which was introduced by Union Minister Nityanand Rai on Tuesday. The Bill aims to replace the contentious Ordinance on the control of services in the national capital.
Meanwhile, the debate on the no-confidence motion, which was moved by the Opposition in Lok Sabha against the government, will begin on August 8, and the Prime Minister is expected to reply on August 10.
Here's what happened on the tenth day of Parliament's monsoon session:
Amid continued ruckus in Lok Sabha, Speaker Om Birla has expressed displeasure with both the ruling party and the opposition over the functioning of the House, ANI reported.
