Parliament Today Top Points: Continued ruckus over the Manipur violence by Opposition parties dominated the Parliament proceedings even as six bills were introduced in Lok Sabha.

Continued ruckus over the Manipur violence by Opposition parties dominated the Parliament proceedings for the third consecutive day even as Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla admitted a no-confidence motion moved by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi against the Narendra Modi government.

The Lok Sabha saw some business being transacted as six bills were introduced and the Forest (Conservation) Amendment Bill, 2023, was passed.

As soon as Lok Sabha paid tributes to soldiers who had died in the Kargil war, Opposition members raised the issue of violence in Manipur and displayed " We Want Justice" placards during Question Hour.
