Q. Students asked PM Modi how to focus on online classes when there are so many distractions available

A: Giving a hilarious spin to the question, PM Modi asked the students whether those who read online, do they really face difficulting in reading or they just stare at the screen and their mind is somewhere else. Students should introspect themselves while studying online, whether they actually study or spend time watching reels on social media.

He said that if that is the case then the mode of study is not the issue but the mind is the problem. PM Modi said that digital education is the need of the hour so one should not avoid it but take it as a source of additional information. Online education is based on the principle of attaining knowledge while offline education is regarding sustaining that knowledge and practically applying it further.

He said, "Skills are quite important across the world. Technology is not a bane, it should be used effectively. Today students are developing 3D printers & running apps for Vedic mathematics. They're efficiently using technology"

He said that once the students are done with their offline classes they can use the online modes for things they missed out on or couldn't understand properly. He said that students that after online and offline education students should focus on "inner lines" and learn about themselves. It will help them focus on their studies and bring clarity to various aspects of life.

Q. A teacher asked PM Modi how will the National Education Police help in nation-building?

A: PM Modi said that the NEP will give students various options to choose their path. The Prime Minister said that there are various fields where students want to contribute and make a career out of it and one them is sports. Earlier, sports was not even a subject at every school, but NEP will help students enroll themselves in courses related to sports and will provide guidance to them to move towards the right path. He said that earlier when one student chose a medical stream he/she would have to follow the same path further but NEP will give them an opportunity to choose courses according to their liking. The Prime Minister also said that NEP will not only provide multiple courses but will enhance the skills of the students which will contribute to nation-building.

Q. Students asked PM Modi how to fulfill the expectation of parents?

A: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this question is not for the students for parents and teachers. He said that parents always remain in conflict on what is right and wrong for their children and they want their children to succeed but students should not feel they are under pressure from teachers and parents to score good marks. Parents should not inject their dreams into children. They should be allowed to decide their future freely.

Guiding the students, PM Modi said that though there are lessons for parents, students should not avoid or ignore their parents and teachers' instructions but try to understand what they want for them, and when they feel pressurised, they should let their parents know. Students should also focus on their skills and share their interest areas with their parents.

Concluding his answer, PM Modi said, "Parents sometimes fail to closely observe the strength and interests of their children. We should understand that every child is blessed with something extraordinary that parents and teachers fail to discover a lot of times."

Q.  Students asked PM Modi how to stay motivated when they don't perform well in exams and how to balance studies and extracurricular activities?

PM Modi said that when one feels low or is demotivated they tend to seek sympathy from others and later it becomes a habit. So to motivate yourself, you need to break the chain and try doing those things which make you feel good and observe things more closely. Giving an example, the Prime Minister said that when you are listening to music, don't just focus on the lyrics but on the tunes and musical instruments as well. PM advised students to draw parallels with nature and understand that every living thing tends to feel demotivated and their behavior changes, flowers, trees also change their behaviors when there is no positive energy so you are not alone.

But you will understand that they can't move and change the energy around them but you can. So try doing simple activities which you love to feel positivity. He said, "God has deprived a disabled person of so many abilities but the disabled have transformed those weaknesses into strengths. Students should introspect & look into as to what are the weaknesses that are hindering them from progressing"

PM Modi also said, "We often connect ‘Dhyaan' and concentration with Rishi-Muni. We all need that in our everyday life. It teaches us to be present in the moment and concentrate on the task at hand."

The Prime Minister also spoke on gender equality and women empowerment at the end of the session and said that there should be no discrimination between boys and girls, and parents should not stop their daughters from studying. He said that parents think that daughters will be married off and their sons will remain with them but they should understand that no one will take care of them in a better way than their daughters and women can achieve everything they want to.

PM asked the parents to understand how important it is to educate the girls and how women have proved themselves in every field. The Prime Minister said that the education system has improved in our villages. A society that does not encourage the education of women will never progress.
