Our Govt Working To End Distrust In Politicians: Rajnath Singh At CDS Rawat Road Inauguration In Dhule
Rajnath Singh inaugurated various development projects in Dhule lauded the Dondaicha Municipality for deciding to name a road in the memory of late CDS General Bipin Rawat.
New Delhi: Union Minister Rajnath Singh reached Dhule in Maharashtra on Friday and inaugurated various development projects in the city including the General Bipin Rawat Road.
The Defence Minister further unveiled the statue of Hindu Rajput king Maharana Pratap which has been established at Maharana Pratap Chowk. He also unveiled the statue of king Daulat Singh Rawal.

Rajnath Singh also inaugurated the Shaheed Abdul Hameed Memorial and unveiled a statue of War Trophy. He further unveiled the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the presence of MLA Shivendra Raje, a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Rajnath Singh also addressed the event after the inauguration to explain how the central government has been working to bring out development in the area. He began his address in Marathi by saying "Maharashtra is a land of heroes and even today Shivaji Maharaj is remembered by all across the country.
The Defence Minister further said that he belongs to UP and Maharashtra and UP have close ties. He further said that great development work is being done in Maharashtra under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari who has improved the roads and transportation facilities. He also lauded the Dondaicha Municipality for deciding to name the road in the memory of late CDS General Bipin Rawat.
He also took a jibe at the opposition parties and said, "Due to differences in the words and deeds of politicians, people started losing trust in politicians. Our government accepted this as a challenge and is working to end it. We do what we say."
He further said, "I want to ask our neighbouring country as to why they want to destabilize, divide our country? Earlier there was no airstrike, surgical strike but we did and gave a message that we can kill terrorists in our territory and across the border also."
Ahead of the visit of Defence Minister to the city, a heavy police force was deployed at Dondaicha and the area was decked up to welcome him. The town of Avaghi Dondai was decorated for the event and Rajnath Singh was welcomed with rangolis at various places on the streets.
