'Boycott This Baraat': Raut Questions Need For Op Sindoor Outreach

Sanjay Raut questioned the need for the delegations and the inclusion of Shrikant Shinde. Despite Raut's criticism, his party colleague Priyanka Chaturvedi is participating in the delegation.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has questioned the need for the diplomatic outreach on Operation Sindoor. He likened the formation of delegation who will travel to various countries with a 'baraat' and called the INDIA bloc to boycott it.

The governemnt has announced seven all-party delegations which will travel to different countries including the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, South Africa among 33 countries, including the EU.

Raut also targeted Shrikant Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena MP and son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for his inclusion in the delegation.

“There was no need to send this baraat. The Prime Minister is weak. There was no need to rush this. What will the son of the Deputy CM (MP Shrikant Shinde, son of Eknath Shinde) represent abroad?” he questioned.

“The BJP has politicised this; they have a habit of doing politics in everything. The India bloc should boycott this baraat,” he added.
