Operation Ajay: Second Flight With 235 Indian Evacuees From Israel Lands At Delhi Airport
Operation Ajay: Another flight with the second batch of Indian evacuees from Israel has landed at the Delhi airport.
The second flight with 235 Indians from Israel under 'Operation Ajay' lands at Delhi airport, a day after the first flight with 212 Indians on board came here. Ministry of External Affairs MoS Rajkumar Ranjan Singh was present at the airport to receive the Indian nationals evacuated from Israel. Operation Ajay is the Government of India's rescue mission to evacuate Indians stuck in Israel due to its war with the militant group, Hamas.
The minister was seen receiving the Indian nationals at the airport.

The second Operation Ajay flight took off from the Israeli city of Tel Aviv on Friday evening. While launching the evacuation mission, EAM S Jaishankar said that India is "fully committed to the safety and well-being of our nationals abroad".
The first flight under India's 'Operation Ajay' carrying 212 Indian nationals from Israel arrived in Delhi on Friday. Soon after the first flight landed, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar welcomed the evacuees. "...Our government will never leave any Indian behind. Our government, our Prime Minister is determined to protect them and bring them back home safely. We are grateful to EAM Dr S Jaishankar, the team at the External Affairs Ministry, the flight crew of this Air India flight for making this possible, for bringing our children back home safely and soundly and back home to their loved ones..." Chandrasekhar said.

The evacuees expressed their gratitude to the Government of India for ensuring their safe return.
