Now Featuring PM Modi As 'Terminator': BJP Releases New Poster Ahead Of Lok Sabha 2024 Election

The poster read, '2024! I'll be back', implying that Modi will be back as the PM in 2024.

New Delhi: Ahead of the INDIA alliance's third meeting in Mumbai, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released a poster showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the fictional cyborg character from the ‘Terminator’ film on social media platform X, formerly called Twitter. The post said that the opposition alliance cannot defeat Prime Minister Modi.

The poster read, '2024! I'll be back', implying that Modi will be back as the PM in 2024.

“Opposition thinks PM Modi can be defeated. Dream on! The Terminator always wins”, the post said.

The poster was released a day before the Opposition bloc INDIA's meeting in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.

Notably, the 26-party opposition alliance has been formed to present a united front to face the BJP juggernaut in next year’s elections.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge is likely to be named as the convener of the INDIA alliance. His name is expected to be announced in the Mumbai meeting of the Opposition parties. It is being said that all party leaders have supported Kharge's name for the position as he is a senior politician.

Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said on Monday that the third mega Opposition meeting will have senior party leader Sonia Gandhi participating. He also reiterated that the alliance's official logo will be unveiled during the mega huddle.

The new name of the opposition bloc — INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) — comprising 26 parties was announced at a meeting in Bengaluru on July 17-18.

The first meeting of the opposition parties was held in Patna.

The 26 opposition parties which are part of the opposition alliance are: the Congress, TMC, DMK, AAP, JD(U), RJD, JMM, NCP (Sharad Pawar), Shiv Sena (UBT), SP, NC, PDP, CPI(M), CPI, RLD, MDMK, Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi (KMDK), VCK, RSP, CPI-ML (Liberation), Forward Bloc, IUML, Kerala Congress (Joseph), Kerala Congress (Mani), Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), and the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK).
