In this image tweeted by Pushkar Singh Dhami, several other countries have been "saffronised" and the boundary of what is depicted to be Indian territory is not the same as the official map of the country.

Notably, this matter has surfaced several days after Twitter received a lot of flak for putting up a distorted map on its website wherein the territory of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh were shown as a separate country from India.

Twitter fueled another controversy as its website showed a distorted map of India on the career section on its website. The map that appeared on the ‘Tweep Life’ section showed Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh as detached from India.

At that time, sources revealed that that the union government planned to issue a strict notice to Twitter asking it to remove the distorted map or face action.

The map was then removed from the Twitter webpage.

Now, several Twitter users have questioned the so-called "Akhand Bharat" map and asked for action to be taken in the matter. Here are some of the responses:

Notably, the new Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has landed in the soup right after being chosen for the top post, much like his predecessor Tirath Singh Rawat whose problematic remarks on women who wear ripped jeans had triggered controversy soon after he took over as the CM.

Now, will any action be taken in this distorted map case - remains to be seen.
