WATCH | Husband Of BJP Corporator Rams Car Through Glass Gate Of Nashik Hospital, Abuses Staff

A witness informed that the man even attacked hospital staff with paver blocks and then just left. Luckily, no one got injured.

Nashik: In yet another incident of attack on medical infrastructure, husband of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporate rammed his car right through the entry gate of Bytco Hospital in Nashik.

The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed at the main entry of the hospital. The 36-second video shows that a man drives his Innova car straight inside the reception area, breaking the glasses of entry gate of a Covid-19 assigned hospital. 

Reportedly, the incident of vandalism was committed by the husband of a BJP corporator in Maharashtra's Nashik.

While speaking to ABP Majha, a doctor of the hospital informed that the man drove his car inside the hospital, breaking the entry glass. He further said that an oxygen cylinder and a stretcher was also damaged in the incident. 

A witness informed that the man even attacked hospital staff with paver blocks, abused them and then just left. Luckily, no one got injured.

So far, reason behind the attack remains unknown. 

The video footage of the incident was also shared by the verified Twitter handle of Varun Sardesai, Secretary, Yuva Sena who claimed the man was husband of a BJP Corporator in Nashik. 

"On one side where the whole country is appreciating and thanking the medical staff, such acts are deplorable and the guilty should be given maximum punishment! Shameful!," he tweeted. 

Police have reached the spot and doors of the hospital has been sealed for now as precautionary measure. 

The doctor present in the hospital also informed that father of the man lost his life at the hospital some 25 days ago but wasn’t sure if today’s incident could be related to it.
