Mumbai Power Outage: Power Supply Restored, Informs BEST PRO. Local Train Services Resumed
Due to this the local train movement has been affected and there's no power supply between Andheri and Churchgate from 9:42 am.
New Delhi: The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) PRO has informed, on Friday, that due to the tripping of MSEB 220kv Transmission line on Mulund -Trombay the power supply to most of the parts Mumbai has been affected.
Due to this the local train movement has been affected and there's no power supply between Andheri and Churchgate from 9:42 am.

The power has been restored at 10:53 am. The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) PRO further said that all systems of Traction, Signalling and Control Applications on MMCT are now normal.

According to a PTI report, the exact cause of the power outage has not yet been determined and efforts are on to restore the supply, officials told reporters. The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport, a state undertaking, distributes power in the island city and depends on producers like Tata Power.
A spokesperson of Tata Power did not immediately comment on the outage according to the report.
