Mumbai Police Identify Real Owner Of The Scorpio Found With Gelatin Sticks Outside Mukesh Ambani's House| Top Developments
Mumbai Police have identified the person under whose name the Scorpio loaded with explosives was registered. Police are still trying to track the person who parked the car outside Mukesh Ambani's House Antilia.
Police have been investigating the Scorpio discovered outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on Thursday night and have found clues from the CCTV footage shared by the local shopkeeper of the area. Apart from the 20 gelatin sticks, police also recovered a blue bag with 'Mumbai Indians' inscribed on it which is Neeta Ambani's IPL team. Police also recovered a letter which said, "Geeta Babhi and Mukesh Bhaiya, Be alert, this is just a trailer, we have made all arrangements to blow up the whole family. Good Night."
The letter was written in English and bad handwritten which made difficult for the experts to track down the man who parked the car. However, Police said that they got to know from the CCTV footages that the Scorpio car came from the direction of Thane and even stopped at Haji Ali Junction for 10 minutes at around 12:20 am.

The Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh also shared some more details about the car found outside Antilia:
- The car, Black Scorpio, carrying explosives has been identified and it was parked with a fake number plate.
- The car was stolen sometime back from Mumbai's Vikroli area, Its chassis number, etc was damaged but police have retrieved its identity and the real owner has been identified
- The suspect who parked the car at the site was seen in CCTV footage but is not yet identified due to his face mask and his head was also covered by a hoody
- The police are conducting a technical and forensic analysis of the car used for carrying the explosives.
- There were no recent threat calls or letters received by anyone with respect to Ambani Family in the recent past.
- Police have gathered CCTV footage from multiple locations from where this car passed on Mumbai roads.
- There was another white Innova car tailing that Scorpio car and police is investigating that car too.
- The gelatin found in the car was not of military-grade gelatin but commercial-grade gelatine which is generally used in construction-related digging.
When CP Param Bir Singh was asked about the affiliation of suspects behind this crime, he clarified that it’s too early to comment on it and they are still investigating all the angles of the case
According to the latest information, the police officials said that on February 17, the complainant was coming to Mumbai from Thane at around 8 pm, while his Scorpio (2004 model) broke down at service road near Vikhroli Airoli signal junction, after which he parked the vehicle on the left side of the road and left in the private car. The next day at around 12 noon when he came to see his car, the car was not there, then he lodged a complaint at Vikhroli police station. There is no CCTV camera at the place where he parked the car and from where the car was stolen. The cops are investigating other places leading to the spot to gather CCTV footage.
Police have come to the following conclusions after the investigation till date:
- The motive behind the at was not to spread violence but to threaten the Ambanis.
- Police are investigating the people who left their job from Antilia in the past 1 year.
- The property on which Antilia is built is disputed.
- Investigative agencies are trying to find out if there was a personal agenda behind this.
- No connection to any terrorist organization has been found.
- Police are investigating about the gelatin to know who bought it, from where it was purchased and manufactured.
- The threatening letter found in the Scorpio also hints towards some personal rivalry.
