Mumbai: Girl falls from moving local train, gets saved by alert passengers; RPF files case
On the basis of a viral video, Railway Protection Force has booked a woman under section 156 of the Railway Act for travelling on the footboard of a local train coach.
MUMBAI: A woman had a miraculous escape after she slipped and almost fell off a moving Mumbai local train.
The woman, who was travelling in the Mumbai local train, was standing on the edge of the footboard when she lost her balance and almost fell off the train. The commuters saw this grabbed her clothes and pulled her back inside the moving train.
The viral video which is now circulating on social media sites shows a woman wearing a black and white striped shirt who is standing on the edge of the gate. The video is said to be recorded by a commuter.
Many on social media slammed the woman for standing at the door when the train was not crowded.
