Mulayam's daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav says 'Ram Mandir should be built in Ayodhya'
On being questioned on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Yadav stated that she would be contesting the elections from ‘Uncle Shivpal Singh’s party’.
Lucknow: Amid the ongoing controversy over building of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minsiter Mulayam Singh’s younger daughter –in-law Aparna Yadav on Wednesday said that Ram Mandir should be built in Ayodhya. The comments came when Aparna was at Deva Sharif Dargah, located in Barabaki. Further clarifying on her support to any political party over the issue, she said “I am not with BJP, but with lord Ram”.
She further asserted that “Ayodhya is Lord Ram’s birthplace, and the same has been mentioned in Ramayana as well. Therefore, building of Ram Mandir over there is a must”.
Will contest 2019 polls from Shivpal’s party:
On being questioned on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Yadav stated that she would be contesting the elections from ‘Uncle Shivpal Singh’s party’. She further added that ‘netaji Mulayam Singh’s blessings are with me’.
After offering her prayers at Deva Sharif, Aparna went for a feast organized for Samajwadi Secular Morcha members. When Aditya Yadav was questioned on Aparna’s statement, he claimed that it is her personal statement.
Supreme Court defers Ayodhya matter till January 2019:
The Apex court on Monday deferred the hearing in the Ayodhya case till January next year. A lot of reactions came post SC order as the matter involves a lot of religions sentiments.
Speaking on SC’s decision, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the apex court should fast track the proceedings in the case as ‘Justice delayed can sometimes be called justice denied’.
