Kamal Nath Leads Anti-CAA Rally In Bhopal; Says 'Won't Allow Any Discriminatory Law In MP’

Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath led a protest march against the Citizenship Amendment Act in state capital Bhopal.

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Wednesday said that he won’t allow the implementation any such law in his state which  discriminates on the basis of religion and is against the spirit of the Constitution. Nath is leading a protest march against the Citizenship Amendment Act in state capital Bhopal. While interacting with media during his protest march, Nath said: “this law (CAA) is a fiddling with the Constitution of our country. I haven’t seen such a law before in my parliamentary career. We are known for bridging the gap between communities ant not for dividing them. We won’t let this law take effect in the state.” “Today, question is not about what Prime Minister and Home Minister are saying. They are saying different things. Question is not about what is included in the act, it's about what is not included. This is not about its use but of its misuse,” said Nath.
