PM Modi Stops Convoy To Give Way To Ambulance In Gujarat. Watch Video

The incident occurred as PM Modi was on his way to the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar after finishing his  public rally near the Doordarshan Centre in Ahmedabad.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, stopped his convoy briefly to give way to an ambulance while travelling to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad on Friday. The incident occurred as PM Modi was on his way to the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar after finishing his  public rally near the Doordarshan Centre in Ahmedabad, PTI reported. 

A video shared by the news agency ANI shows two SUVs, which were part of the prime minister's convoy, slowly moving to the left side on the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar road to give way to the ambulance.

"On the way to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad, PM Modi's carcade stopped to give way to an ambulance," the Gujarat BJP said.

"On the way to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad, PM Modi Ji's cascade stops to give way to an ambulance. No VIP Culture in the Modi era," BJP leader Rutvij Patel wrote while sharing the video on Twitter. 

Modi launched the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train and the first phase of the Ahmedabad Metro rail project on the second day of his Gujarat visit.

The prime minister will be in Banaskantha district in the evening to address a public gathering and perform the aarti at the famous Ambaji temple.

Prime Minister's Two Day Visit To Gujarat

Prime Minister Modi is in Gujarat for a two-day visit. On Thursday, he attended a number of events and laid foundation stones in Surat and Bhavnagar. He also declared the National Games 2022 open in Ahmedabad on Thursday. 

On the second day of his Gujarat visit, PM Modi waved  the green flag for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project on the second day of his visit to Gujarat. After riding in the brand new Vande Bharat Express 2.0 from Gandhinagar Station, the Prime Minister arrived at Kalupur Station. He also visited  a Metro Rail exhibition set up for the occasion.

During the Metro ride, the Modi was joined by students, athletes, and regular commuters. He interacted with them. Many of them asked for his autograph.

Today, the Prime Minister will visit another place of worship in Ambaji, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. In Ambaji, he will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various development projects worth over Rs. 7200 crores to the nation.
