Modi government taking undue advantage of me being silent: Delhi CM Kejriwal

“The attacks on us have intensified over the last three months. It’s being said that Kejriwal has been silent for a year. They are taking an undue advantage of that silence,” he told reporters in his firs press conference in several months.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday addressed a press conference and in his usual stance accused the Modi government of stalling development works initiated by the AAP government in the national capital. Kejriwal alleged that the "Centre is using the CBI and the anti-corruption branch to impose cases on our officials acting on allegations leveled by certain BJP workers." “The attacks on us have intensified over the last three months.  It’s being said that Kejriwal has been silent for a year. They are taking an undue advantage of that silence,” he told reporters in his firs press conference in several months. He questioned why the BJP which has formed governments in several states hasn’t been able to deliver in the areas of education and healthcare like our three-year-old government in Delhi Kejriwal said the CBI has taken 3 lakh pages from the mohalla clinics. He further said “officers who are efficient are being called by the investigating agencies and are being threatened”. The chief minister also alleged that joint CBI-ACB team conducted searches at Delhi Jal Board (DJB) offices. CBI has however denied it had searched the national capital's water utility. Mohalla Clinics, one of the flagship projects of the AAP government, were started with the aim to provide free primary health care to the people near their residences. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court today allowed to list a plea filed by MLA Kapil Mishra against Kejriwal claiming that the CM has less than 10 per cent attendance in the Assembly. When the matter was mentioned before a vacation bench comprising Justices Sangita Dhingra Sehgal and C Hari Shankar, it asked the lawyer for Mishra to file the petition, reported news agency PTI
