Meerut SHOCKER: BJP MLA Sangeet Som's residence attacked with bullets and grenade

As per Sangeet Som, he received a death threat two years ago, when the caller told him that he would be killed with a grenade

Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incidence, Bharataiya Janta Party MLA Sangeet Som’s Meerut residence was attacked with hand grenade and bullets on Wednesday night by unknown people. As per the security guard who was deployed outside the house, the incident took place at 12:45am. Speaking on the incident, SSP Meerut said “We have found empty bullet shells from the spot and forensic team is inspecting them, also found a hand grenade”. Luckily, there was no loss of life as the firing was aimed at security guard’s cabin and the main gate of the house.  The cops will now investigate the CCTV footage and try to identify the miscreants. The cops are also interrogating Som and as per them during investigation, he revealed that received a death threat two years ago; where I was told I would be killed with a grenade.
