MBBS Courses Will Be Taught In Hindi, Assures Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan
The CM also announced the reintroduction of his government's key initiatives, Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, among other things.
New Delhi: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, declared on Sunday that the state government will guarantee that medical (MBBS) courses are taught in Hindi to benefit students.
"We will start imparting education for Medical courses in Hindi," Chouhan declared on the second day of the Madhya Pradesh government's 'Chintan Shivir' in the hill resort of Pachmarhi. It will benefit pupils from lower and moderate-income families, news agency ANI reported.
The CM also announced the reintroduction of his government's key initiatives, Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, among other things.
"From April 21, the 'Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana' will be launched in a new format, coupled with the 'Ladli Lakshmi Yojana,' which will commence on May 2," Chouhan stated.
The amount allotted to each bride has been enhanced from 51,000 to 55,000 under the redesigned Kanya Vivah Yojana. The Bride will also receive regular home things as part of the arrangement.
Following discussions with his Cabinet Ministers, CM Chouhan said that the state government will support Senior Citizens' pilgrimages and that the initiative will be relaunched.
“‘Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yojana’ will be started again from April 18. We’ll look into the arrangement of ‘Tirth Yatra’ (Pilgrimage) for destinations far away for the elderly through flights,” Chouhan said.
In addition, he stated that the State government has decided to provide physical strength 50 per cent of the weighting in police recruiting, in addition to a written exam.
Under the supervision of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Madhya Pradesh Council of Ministers is having a two-day brainstorming session in the hill station of Pachmarhi.
