Mann Ki Baat A ‘Powerful Tool Of Social-Cultural Messaging’, BJP Lauds PM Modi For 100th Episode

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said "Mann Ki Baat has become a social campaign, a mass revolution..."

Several ministers and chief ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 100th episode of his monthly radio broadcast, Mann Ki Baat. Talking to reporters after listening to the 30-minute long episode, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called PM Modi, a “large-hearted person.”  "...Interacting with people and connecting with them can be done only by someone who is large-hearted,” he said. 

Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri termed the radio programme a “powerful tool of social-cultural messaging.” 

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha called the day “auspicious”. 

"This is special. We were waiting for this. Today is an auspicious day,” the CM said. 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma offered “deep gratitude” to PM Modi.

“Today is a historical day in India's democracy. For the first time the Prime Minister of India is talking to people and appreciating the efforts of normal people and advocating various causes like Swaccha Bharat, Vocal for Local... I would like to offer deep gratitude to Narendra Modi for such innovation and for galvanising the entire country with pride of being Indian,” said Sarma.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said "Mann Ki Baat has become a social campaign, a mass revolution..."

Union minister Jitendra Singh who listened to the radio broadcast at India House in London he did not expect a huge turnout by people of Indian diaspora. 

 "...We didn't expect such a huge turnout. The entire diaspora, I think across England, is over here at the India House...It's also an indication of the kind of trust that people have in PM Modi..."
