Maharashtra: 30,535 Covid Cases Reported In Single Day, Antigen Testing Begins In Bus And Railway Stations Of Mumbai

Mumbai Reports 3,779 Fresh Covid-19 Cases
Maharashtra capital Mumbai reported 3,779 fresh coronavirus cases in the day while ten patients succumbed to the viral infection. The fresh cases take the financial capital’s tally to 3,62,654. From today, antigen tests will be done at bus-railway stations and malls in Mumbai to curb Coronavirus from spreading.
Meanwhile, Nagpur reported 3,614 fresh coronavirus cases, pushing the city’s tally to 1,93,080. At least 32 people lost their lives due to the virus in the last 24 hours. 1, 59,108 people have so far recuperated from the virus. There are 29,348 active coronavirus cases. At least 4,624 people have so far lost their lives due to the virus.

Maharashtra along with Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka, and Gujarat account for 77.7 percent of the new Covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Despite this, India has inched closer to touch the significant milestone of administering nearly four crore 50 lakh vaccine doses.
