Rajnath Singh Reaches Out To Kharge, Stalin To Build Consensus Over LS Speaker Post

According to news agency ANI, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has also spoken to Opposition leaders to build consensus over the post of Lok Sabha Speaker.

Union minister Rajanth Singh has reached out to Opposition leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to build consensus for the post of Speaker and Deputy Speaker for the 18th Lok Sabha. The move comes as the saffron party pulls all stops to retain the key post in the Lower House.
