Kalyan Singh Health Update: Former UP CM's Health Condition Is Better And Improving, Remains In ICU
Former UP CM Kalyan Singh was admitted to SGPGI on the evening of July 4. His health is continuously improving.
Health condition of ex-UP CM Kalyan Singh: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and former Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kalyan Singh's Health is continuously improving under treatment in the Intensive Care Medicine (ICU) of 'Critical Care Medicine' of Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow.
An official bulletin issued by SGPGI on Monday informed that "the condition of Kalyan Singh (89) is better and his health is improving continuously. He is talking to his relatives and the staff engaged in his care."

"A team of senior doctors including cardiologist, neurologist, diabetics and kidney specialist is involved in his treatment. Experts are keeping an eye on the important parameters and their daily testing," the health bulletin said. The Director of SGPGI, Professor RK Dhiman is personally supervising the former UP Chief Minister's treatment.
Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani reached SGPGI on Monday to meet Kalyan Singh. It is being informed that Kalyan Singh also spoke to Union Minister Smriti Irani.
Suresh Khanna, Minister of Medical Education and Finance and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Uttar Pradesh also met the former Chief Minister on Sunday night and inquired about his well-being.
Kalyan Singh was admitted to SGPGI on the evening of July 4. Earlier, he was undergoing treatment at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences.
