JDU leader Prashant Kishor's car attacked by Patna University students

The voting for Patna University’s Student Union election is set to take place on December 5. The last day for campaigning for the same was on Monday.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident JDU leader Prashant Kishor’s car was attacked by students on Monday, after he went to meet VC Rasbihari Singh at his residence. The students found this unacceptable and attacked his car. This broke the windows of Kishor’s car. Luckily, the JDU leader escaped unhurt. The students thereafter gathered outside VC’s residence seeking an answer from Prashant Kishor asking him a reason for his visit. Immediately after the attack, the police lathi-charged the students and also detained several students. The voting for Patna University’s Student Union election is set to take place on December 5. The last day for campaigning for the same was on Monday. As per Prashant Kishor, he visited the VC to discuss Disaster Management. Speaking on the incident, he said that his uncle has been working on a disaster management related project and he visited the VC to discuss the same. Speaking on the incident, PU VC said “If I would have known Mishra ji (Prashant Kishor’s uncle) would come with Prashant Kishor, I would have asked him not to”.
