Union Minister and leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, Piyush Goyal reacted on the black clothes worn by Opposition MPs and said that the people who are wearing black clothes can't understand the increasing power of the country as their present, past and future are black.
"Unfortunate that politics is being done even on such a serious matter. This is a matter of India's honour, a matter of India's emerging image before the world...I think that the people who are wearing black clothes can't understand the increasing power of the country....Their present, past and future are black. But we hope there will be light in their life too," Goyal said, as quoted by ANI.

The Monsoon session, which began on July 20, has so far been marred by continuous disruptions by the opposition over the ethnic violence in Manipur, particularly over a viral video showing two women being paraded naked by a mob in the northeastern state. The video rocked both houses of the Parliament, forcing early adjournments since day one with the Opposition demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement on the issue.
In a bid to corner PM Modi over the Manipur ethnic violence, the opposition parties today moved a no-confidence motion against the government in Lok Sabha. It was tabled by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and BRS MP Nama Nageswara. The Lok Sabha Speaker admitted the no-confidence motion and said he will schedule the debate after discussing it with all parties and going by the rule book.
While the BJP government faces no threat due to the motion as the NDA has a comfortable majority in Lok Sabha, the Opposition has said the objective was to push PM Modi to reply in Parliament on the Manipur issue. The government has been insisting that only Union Home Minister Amit Shah would reply to a debate on the Manipur situation.
