India’s Covid-19 Total Vaccination Count Reaches Nearly 133 Crore
Out of 81,08,719 Covid-19 vaccine doses administered on Saturday, 20,13,140 people received their first dose while 60,95,579 people were fully vaccinated as they got their second dose.
New Delhi: India’s cumulative figures for vaccination of Covid-19 has almost reached nearly 133 crore doses, reported ANI. As per the official press release by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday over 81 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine were inoculated till 7 pm.
The statement by the Ministry read, “"India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has reached nearly 133 Crore (132,84,04,705) today. More than 81 lakh (81,08,719) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today.”
The report stated that the daily vaccination tally was expected to increase after the final reports for the day by late tonight would be compiled.
Out of 81,08,719 Covid-19 vaccine doses that were administered on Saturday, 20,13,140 people were those who had received their first dose while 60,95,579 people were fully vaccinated as they got their second dose.
The cumulative Covid-19 vaccination figure of the country today stood at 1,32,84,04,705
India reported 7,992 cases of the Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 9,265 people were reported recovered while 393 people succumbed to the infection. Meanwhile 32 cases of Covid-19 with Omicron variant were reported in the country which included states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi.
The active caseload currently was reported at 93,277 which was lowest in 559 days as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Daily positivity rate (0.64 per cent) has been less than 2 per cent for the last 68 days and Weekly Positivity Rate (0.71 per cent) has been less than 1 per cent for the last 27 days.
65.46 tests have been undertaken so far.
