India Completes 6 Months Of Covid Vaccination Campaign, Know Which State Inoculated The Highest

It's been 6 months since the first vaccination drive in the country. The vaccination campaign started in India from 16 January. Now, it's time to know how many people got vaccinated in each state.

New Delhi: The vaccination campaign has reached 6 months mark in the country. In these 6 months, a total of 39 crores 53 lakh 43 thousand 767 people have been vaccinated. In Uttar Pradesh, the maximum of 3 crores 95 lakh 20 thousand 85 people have been vaccinated, while Maharashtra remains at number 2 by inoculating 3 crores 82 lakh 68 thousand 323 vaccines.

The Covid-19 vaccination started in India on 16 January. According to a senior official of the Ministry of Health, the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in India was huge.

So far, 335 million doses have been administered in the United States of America, while 8.11 million in Britain, 62.3 million in France, 117.2 million in Brazil, and 841 million in Germany.

If we look at the figures, at present, about 30 million doses are being administered daily in the world. Of these, 38 lakh doses are being given in India alone. On the same parameters, 5.48 lakh vaccine doses in America, 13.55 lakh in Brazil, 7.77 lakh in Germany, 2.35 lakh in the UK and 5.55 lakh in France are administered.

Gujarat ranks 3rd among the states with the most vaccinations. So far 2 crores 87 lakh 62 thousand 502 doses have been given here. After Gujarat, comes Rajasthan at number 4. 2 crore 75 lakh 622 vaccines have been inoculated here. Karnataka has been placed at 5, after vaccinating 2 crores 66 lakh 14 thousand 608 doses.
