Home Minister of Maharashtra Dilip Walse Patil said on Saturday that Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana are causing a commotion at the request of someone else.
He went on to say that the Ranas seek to smear the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government's image and destabilise the state's climate.

This comes after Sena workers staged a big protest against the MP-MLA couple's intentions to recite the Hanuman Chalisa outside Uddhav Thackeray's home in Matoshree.
According to PTI, several Sena workers burst over barriers placed outside the couple's home and attempted to enter.
Police had halted them, according to a source who spoke to PTI, and the situation was under control. According to PTI, the incident occurred at about 8.45 a.m.
ANI released a video earlier today showing scores of individuals waving flags and chanting outside what seems to be Rana and Kaur's home.
The mob seemed to have erected a barricade in front of the gate.

MP Navneet Rana along with her husband, MLA Ravi Rana, have stated that they will visit Matoshree on Saturday at 9 a.m. According to Navneet Rana, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was elected because of Hindutva, but he has now abandoned the philosophy.
On Friday morning, the Ranas landed in Mumbai. Shiv Sena workers have congregated in several sites throughout Mumbai, including Matoshree, since then, daring the Rana couple to go near Matoshree.
Rana and Kaur had threatened to chant the 'Hanuman Chalisa' outside 'Matoshree' in the midst of a controversy in the state (and country) about azaan calls over loudspeakers.
Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, caused a stir earlier this year when he demanded that loudspeakers be removed from mosques.
If the demand was not satisfied, he threatened his party members will play the 'Hanuman Chalisa' over loudspeakers.
"Loudspeakers in mosques should be shut by May 3. Otherwise, we will play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers. This is a social issue, not a religious one…. we will not go back on the issue," he said.
