New Delhi: Indians and their love for sweets are famous across the world. People travelling abroad are often asked to get made-in-India sweets by their relatives; who relish it for their exquisite flavors. Keeping the craze for sweets alive, a sweet shop in Gujarat’s Surat is selling sweets worth Rs 9,000 per Kg. Yes, you read it right. Now, must be wondering that what special the sweets being served at this shop have for them to be so expensive. The USP of this shop is that it is selling sweets smeared with 24 carat pure gold leaf. Speaking of the unique sweet shop, one of the customers present said, “As I entered the shop I was amazed.People in the shop have informed that these sweets are good for health. I wish them luck&hope people of Surat are benefited with it”.
As per the owner of the shop, these special sweets have been introduced for the upcoming festival of Rakshabandhan, where the sisters purchase sweets for their brothers.
