Grief-stricken woman reaches CM Adityanath, receives immediate help

Uttar Pradesh: A grief struck woman on Tuesday reached CM Yogi Adityanath seeking help for her and her daughter. Ritu Gupta, who stays in Hardoi reached Yogi’s public meeting in Lucknow with her 1.5 year old daughter, in order to put an end to her ordeals. The woman complained that her in-laws have been torturing her for dowry, and don’t give her food to eat. She said, “I filed an FIR against my in-laws but no investigation was done”. She added saying that they are not even giving her money to fulfill the basic needs of her daughter. After CM Adityanath’s meeting with the lady, he promised her of action and within minutes she received call from the police station and a probe was initiated. Not just after taking an oath as Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has been holding public meets even before in Gorakhnath temple, where he attempted to resolve the problems of hundreds of people who visited him on daily basis.
