Greater Noida gangrape case: Cops caught on camera snoring away in PCR van

New Delhi: The shocking gangrape case in Greater has highlighted the poor patrolling of police in Greater Noida and here comes an early morning video of cops snoring away in a Police Control Room (PCR) vehicle. Two policemen napping in the PCR vehicle have been suspended after the video was reported to their senior officials. The video is said to be of 7:30 am on Tuesday few hours after a woman was found outside 'Chacha Ka Restaurant' at Greater Noida's Golf Links, at about 4 am. The incident is absolutely unacceptable and not in keeping with the high expectations placed on police officials in a city where the streets get deserted and is considered unsafe for women. The 35-year-old woman was abducte from Gurgaon and gangraped in Greater Noida in a moving vehicle reminding the horror of the IMT Manesar gangrape which took place less than a month ago.
