Operation Saugandh: Grand operation underway for Ram Temple in Ayodhya says former BJP MP
With the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title suit still in the Supreme Court, Ram Vilas Vedanti, who is also a member of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Nyasprofessed that the temple can also be constructed without the court's order.
NEW DELHI: Amid a growing chorus from saffron outfits for an ordinance to settle the Ayodhya dispute ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, a former BJP MP in a sting operation by ABP News has claimed a "grand" preparation was underway in the temple city for the construction of Ram temple. Ram Vilas Vedanti, who is also a member of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Nyas, said planning for Ram temple in Ayodhya was going on at an unprecedented level. "Such a grand preparation is underway that you cannot even imagine," he said.
With the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title suit still in the Supreme Court, Vedanti professed that the temple can also be constructed without the court's order.
"It has been 500 years that the temple was demolished and no decision has been taken on its construction till date. Therefore, we don't believe that the court will decide on it," he said.
"Did Babar come with court's order to demolish the temple or did we follow the law when we razed the disputed structure? When all of this can happen without the court's permission, the Ram temple can also be erected without court's verdict," he said.
Santosh Dubey, president of Dharam Sena, a saffron outfit, said December 6 has become an important date for him and his organisation as the Babri Masjid was demolished the same date in the year 1992.
"We are organising a major event on December 6, in which we have invited all the karsevaks who took part in it. We will facilitate them during the program," Dubey said, adding that he will also announce the date for construction of Ram temple from the platform.
