Expelled Congress Leader Pramod Krishnam Vows To Stand With PM Modi Lifelong, Calls Kharge 'Rubber Stamp'

Acharya Pramod Krishnam "thanked" top leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and K.C. Venugopal for "relieving him" and questioned which remarks made by him were anti-Congress.

After being expelled from the Congress for his anti-party remarks, Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Sunday dubbed party president Mallikarjun Kharge as "rubber stamp," and stated that he will "stand with Prime Minister Narendra Modi all my life," news agency ANI reported.

Speaking with ANI, he stated: "Today at this age, I am taking this resolution that I will stand with Narendra Modi all my life." He further stated that "every leader is asking me, what was the fault of Acharya Pramod Krishnam?".

He added: "I want to thank all those leaders who supported me being in Congress party...The person who does not respect his mother or sister, how will he respect the country?"

He "thanked" top leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and K.C. Venugopal for "relieving him" and questioned which remarks made by him were anti-Congress. “Which of my activities are against the party? When did they get to know about these activities? Is taking Lord Ram’s name anti-party? Is going to Ayodhya anti-party? Was attending the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ram Janmabhoomi anti-party? Is meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi anti-party?” he told ANI.

Calling Mallikarjun Kharge a "rubber stamp," Krishnam stated: "Sachin Pilot has been disrespected a lot in the party and like Lord Shiv, he is gulping the poison. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also being disrespected...You should ask her why is she not joining Rahul Gandhi in his Yatra? The question is who is giving instructions to disrespect them because our president (Mallikarjun Kharge) is just a rubber stamp."

When questioned if he will join BJP, expelled Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam said: "I don't know where I will go. I have faith in God, I will go wherever God will take me. I am with Narendra Modi ji and Modi ji is with the country."

Krishnam, who ran for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Lucknow on a Congress ticket but lost, recently complimented Prime Minister Modi for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and chastised the Congress leadership for ignoring it.
