8. Meanwhile, tensions escalated as supporters of TMC leaders Sheikh Sajahan and Shankar Adhya reportedly confronted the ED team, prompting further scrutiny of the incident.

9. BJP leaders claimed that the attack was symptomatic of lawlessness and anarchy in West Bengal, calling for decisive action against those responsible.
