Demonetisation is a 'good initiative', but will not completely end black money: Anna Hazare
New Delhi: Social activist Anna Hazare has lauded the demonetisation move of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government terming it a "good initiative".
However, he also cautioned that it will "not completely end black money".
"Demonetisation is a good initiative, this will not completely end black money but will definitely curb upto certain extent," Anna Hazare said, reported ANI.
"People are facing some difficulties but this will be worth it in long run", he said.
Meanwhile, in Delhi, banquet halls business impacted due to demonetization.

"People are simply cancelling bookings,they are say we will have weddings later when things normalise", one of the banquet Halls employee said reported ANI.
Meanwhile, an elderly man, who had queued up before a bank from the wee hours, died of heart attack at his home, his relatives said, becoming the latest casualty in the demonitisation related turmoil in India.
Sk. Islamuddin of Metiabruz in West Kolkata, was declared brought dead at a hospital on Friday.
"On Thursday, he had gone to the bank to withdraw money. But after waiting for long at the queue, he only got a chit and was asked to come back on Friday. He was desperate for money to feed his children. So he queued up before the bank from 2 a.m.
"He went home at 4 a.m. and had tea and snacks. But then he had a massive heart attack, collapsed and died later," said Islamuddin's relative.
