He further stated that Congress will choose its allies for state polls since it is the biggest party.
Speaking to ANI, Raut said, "The INDIA alliance is made for the Lok Sabha elections of 2024...Assembly elections happen at the local level in many states so seat sharing will be done as per the local seats there... In the INDIA Alliance, discussions take place on Lok Sabha elections... We are limited to that."

Raut asserted that the BJP will not form a government next year.
"Congress is the big party in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. So they will decide who they want to take along with them...The BJP will not form a government in 2024 at the centre. PM Modi will not become Prime Minister," he added.
Earlier on Sunday, Raut had responded to a query on BJP president JP Nadda criticising regional parties, sayimh, "How did the NDA happen? All parties are regional. The BJP will also become a regional party in some time. There are 12 states where the BJP is not present."
Speaking on 'wagh nakh', the tiger claw-shaped weapon of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, that the Maharashtra government has said will be brought to the state from the United Kingdom, Raut said even descendants of the legendary warrior-king have doubts on its authenticity.
"It may belong to that era. But we have tremendous respect for it. The Bharatiya Janata Party is indulging in emotional politics. People will use the wagh nakh to attack the Eknath Shinde government in the elections," he had claimed.
