Devotees In Delhi, Bihar And Other States Offer 'Araghya' To Rising Sun As Chhath Puja Concludes. WATCH
Devotees across the country offered morning 'Araghya' to the rising Sun concluding the four-day Chhath festivities.
Chhath Puja 2023: Devotees on Monday gave 'Araghya' to the rising Sun to conclude the four-day Chhath festivities across various states. Visuals from Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi among other places show crowds of worshippers standing in water to offer morning prayers to the Sun God, after offering evening 'Argh' to the deity on Sunday.
The festival is celebrated six days after Diwali every year where devotees observe fast and conclude the festival by offering evening prayers to the setting Sun and morning prayers to the rising Sun on the last two days of the festival.

In West Bengal also, devotees offered the 'Araghya' to the rising Sun in Dahi Ghat, Kolkata.
Heavy security arrangements were made because of the Chhath festival across the states and in the national capital as well. Ghats were decorated, and water bodies were cleaned to facilitate the worshippers. Drone, security officials were put on guard to prevent any untoward incident and help people in view of large crowds.
In Delhi, however, toxic foam continued to exist despite the AAP government's efforts to clean it in several areas. Women at Kalinidi Kunj ghat stood in knee-deep water of Yamuna with toxic foam surrounding them.
